Juarez

This is as close as we got to Mexico! I took these pictures while we were on the freeway so they are a little fuzzy.

In this picture you can see the extremely small Rio Grande. Apparently back in the day it was much bigger, but lots of water is taken out for irrigation along the way. You can also see the fence that is being constructed between the two countries.

And then the fence just ends! They are working on completing it, but I thought it was really bizarre it just ends in the middle of an urban area.
