the numbers

Back in the day, before some troops went off to WWI, they put their regiment numbers up on the hill before they left.  We used to live close to the numbers.  Molly was convinced they were made of flowers, but we kept telling her they were made of stones painted white.  She wanted to check them out, but we never got around to it.  The other day, we were close by, so we decided to see what they were made of.

This is the staircase we had to go up!  She easily beat me.

Finally getting a good look at the numbers.

And they are made of rocks painted white!

She decided we were in a meadow like Bambi and wanted to play :)

Wondered that myself - now we know - I'm impressed of you walking up the hill also - was there an incentive to help baby along?......

Haha, no, wasn't trying to get the baby out any faster. Although may start considering it this week, I'm starting to be pretty done with being pregnant :)
