We had our post holes dug by a guy with a bob cat. We have been informed by many of our neighbors that our community used to be a quarry and there are a lot of rocks that make post hole digging by hand a long, painful experience.

We had the call before you dig people come out and spray paint where all the buried lines were, so we thought the post hole digging would go off without a hitch. But it turns out that Shaw cable has decided it's cheaper to fix broken cable than pay the membership dues to belong to call before you dig. Luckily our phone, internet, and cable are all with Telus, but our poor neighbors have all three with Shaw!
