gardening

The front yard and the community garden did not fare well this year! The back yard, the never ending quest to finish the baseboards, and a busy summer at work lead to some pretty inconsistent results.

It turns out when wild lettuce bolts it gets a little out of control.

After the lettuce was pulled. I found a couple perennials afterwards that I had forgotten I'd planted last year!

Strawberries in the backyard.

The community garden did not fare so well. Due to constant rain and a very busy June, it didn't even get planted until July. And then it was mostly ignored. But we did get a lot of peas and some zucchinis from it!
