This year Molly is three, and William and Kate were going to be driving the parade route before it started, so we headed down watch! Andy won 2 bleacher tickets at work. We took the bus downtown with him and he went to work while we watched the parade.
There was a booth selling hats, so we got one to match her princess dress.

We both look a little tired!

This was as good a view as we got at 19km/hr, but it was still worth the trip! I was worried Molly would be upset that she didn't get to see the princess, but I think it was such a non event that she didn't even notice. I could have got a better picture if I hadn't started waving like crazy!
But we did get to see quite a few princesses. There were Stampede and other rodeo princesses and queens throughout the parade.
Grand marshal Rick Hansen.

Hands down, the most uncomfortable looking rider was our mayor.
I'm not really a big army person, but the tanks were very impressive.
On the way home she was yelling "Hahoo!". Not quite finished her Calgarian training yet.

CP train
There were a lot of bagpipe bands. This one was the best dressed.
Molly was quite impressed with these little horses. The regularly sized horses behind these were the mommy horses according to her.
Giant lego!
This band kept Molly awake the night before with their final practice.
This was the best float, but hard to capture with the camera.
Go Flames!
