A couple years later not much had changed.
Notice how far apart the spindles are behind Molly! I think two of her could fit through them. Somehow she never fell through.
Railing all off. It took much longer than we thought it would, a few more nails and screws than I thought was necessary.

Then we had to redo the stairs which were starting to fall apart. Renos are never as easy you think. Not only were the risers falling apart, they had rotted out the support beams!
Finally done!
We meant to restain the deck too, but never got around to it before it got cold. There's always next year!
And of course a month after we finished it all off, we had a major wind storm which knocked over part of the old fence!
