We are working on the third bedroom at the moment. It is painted a strange shade of yellow with BRIGHT blue trim, including the 2 closet doors! Shortly after we moved in we took the doors off our front hall closet and put them in this room as I didn't think I could handle all that blue (so you know it was pretty bad!).
This room really should have been worked on before now, but the walls are slathered in texturizing stuff that has to be sanded off. This is what one hour of sanding looks like.
I will be so happy when we are finished with this mess! I'm thinking best case scenario it will be done by the end of September.

isn't your basement bedroom textured also? must have been a trend at one point - I seem to recall vaguely......best if I don't know who got stuck with textured walls!!!!

The bedroom in the basement has even more texturizing on the walls! If we get around to that room, I think we're just going to tear the walls down and redrywall as it will be much less effort.
