tree down

We used to have a cedar in front of our house. I have wanted to take it down since we moved in as it blocked out light and made the house look unbalanced. Andy liked it as it provided privacy and hid the cloudy window with the broken seal. We had to take part of it down so that the window could be installed, and the rest of it came down on the weekend!

Molly making it impossible for me to get any work done.

It ended up being much easier than we thought it would be! We pulled out about 15 cottoneaster bushes the first two summers we were here and thought it would be harder than them. But there were fewer roots and they weren't all tangled up, so Andy just dug a hole and cut the roots. Finally a job that took significantly less time than expected!

The last of the front yard changes!
